My recently finished Tesla coil puts out about 6 simultaneous streamers about a
foot long from a smooth 12" x 3" toroid purchased from www.amazing1.com. If I
use a bigger toriod will I get fewer but longer streamers?  Is there a cheaper
source of toroids?

The coil is powered by a 9kv 30mA NST.  The primary cap is 0.012uF made out of
20 doorknob caps.  Are my results typical for this power?
