This is similar to the DF-DRSSTC pulse firing circuit I used on the 
DF-DRSSTC (upper right):

Your circuit is pretty nice and easy and should work fine ;-))

I was going to use two ignition coils for total isolation since everything 
in the primary circuit is very hot!
