Hi Aaron,
I have a cousin near Seattle that could get it. How does that sound to
you?

Tony

Howdy! My wife and I are relocating only about a mile
from our current location, however it seemed a good
opportunity to "clean shop", so I've decided to part
ways with the last of my "pole pigs". I've simply got
WAY too many other HV transformers to keep me busy,
and have been working primarily on solid-state and
other types of Tesla coils recently.

The pig is a 14.7kV 15kVA unit of the "single-bushing"
sort. It weighs a few hundred pounds and will not be
released into the custody of anybody under 18 years of
age. Pig also comes with a hefty wooden cart on
casters so that it can roll to where the action is in
your garage, basement, etc.

Pig is pictured here, along with some other stuff:

Asking price is $100 o.b.o., and you must be willing
to pick the unit up from my home in Sammamish, WA. A
pickup truck is best, as I have the means to lift the
unit into the back of a pickup truck. Otherwise, a
truck with a lift gate is strongly recommended!

Following is a list of things I'm planning on keeping,
but might be persuaded to part with if you seem really
interested :-) ...

2 x 750VA 120:1 potential transformers (14.4kV)
1 x 3kVA 200:1 potential transformer (24kV)
1 x 200VA 20:1 potential transformer (2.4kV)
2 x 10+kA (guessing) 27kV surge arrestors
1 x 115kV .024uF coupling capacitor (ceramic, 300+lbs)
1 x 5kVA 120V variac (no knob)

Big cap is also pictured in the link above (it's the
monstrous insulator on the left).

Again, all this is in Sammamish, WA, and must be
picked up. Once I move (in a couple of weeks), I'll
be much less apt to part with it :-)) If you're in
the Seattle area and would like to drop by for a look,
weekday evenings are best. Just drop me a note.

Regards,
Aaron, N7OE
