Hi,

Chip, I did not need reading glasses till last year at 45... 8-))) LCD
screens are bad for that... But "MY" eyes seemed much better "today"
:o)))))) I have four computers on 24 hours a day on 1.5kW UPS... Three
are mine. and one "other" on the open WiFi :o)) Someday I should figure
out "who" :o))
To all...
No need to "cry over Terry"....
I am not "going away" or anything!!! I am "still" on the list as just a
"normal person" now :-) And "now", I don't have to be "nice"
anymore >;-)) Oh!!! The evil tricks I have learned >:-D
I was sorry to leave so "fast" and at a "bad moment", but the glass on my
$800 computer LCD screen is only 0.82mm thick and I was about to put my
fist through it >:o)) Chip got a little stuck there, but I was just
talking to the "new" moderator as I was typing this :-)))
After eight years, I finally "arced over and burnt out" *:O The "mess"
finally made me realize I just was not having fun anymore being the
moderator. I finally decided to heck with it and post 96,388 became my
last as moderator... A small twig, but enough to break the camel's
back... I left "suddenly" which is sort of a pain for Chip. :-( but I
thought that was better than putting my fist through the monitor >:o))
Don't be sad!! It is time for a "fresh" moderator. For 7 1/2 years I
loved being the moderator!! But this year with all the SISG stuff and all,
I started to grow weary of the "usual stuff"... I was just not that
interested in many of the "old topics" regarding spark gap coils and all
that. I have not run a conventional coil in four years now and I don't
plan to in the future. "Solid state is where it at!!!" ;-)) Conventional
spark gaps and much of their circuit theory are now "dead to me"... There
are BIGGER machines in the works that will be the largest this planet has
ever seen by FAR!! :-)))))))) So that is where 100% of my efforts
are
"now"...
So it is actually a very good thing as far as "I" am concerned. ;-)) I
think it will be a "refreshing" thing in "many" ways ;-))
Cheers,
Terry
