I finally got around to reading Gerry's improved primary investigation.
Very good stuff that has the potential to be a low cost way to get more
performance from our coils!  I encourage others to study Gerry's paper and
provide comments and experimental results (e.g. A-B comparisons of coils
with standard vs improved primaries) to the list so we can all benefit from
the collective wisdom.
