Marconi Rectifier Indentification
Original poster: "Gav D" <gdingley@xxxxxxxxx>
Hi,
I have a Marconi rectifier, two diodes in series to act as one half
of a full-bridge circuit. The device takes the form of a black resin
block with rounded ends measuring 7 3/4in. by 1 1/4in. by 1 1/4in.
There are three imperial tapped terminals and the diodes have a
forward voltage of 8.5V each. There is a label saying EHT Rectifier
and are British made. The part number reads: HTZ 24B Does anyone have
any data or may be able to guess their rating (voltage/current).
Thanks,
Gavin
