Hi group,
I continue my three phase off the grid generator and DC asrg project. I have
a nice 3 phase genhead but am finding a diesel Isuzu 1le1 2.2L to power the
end close to $4000 ;-( an Isuzo PUP would work, I believe).
Also, I would like to find three matched plate transformers or perhaps
potential transformers. Since a 3 phase bridge diode per leg equals 2.45 x
rms value of one output (Richie Burnett) combined (wye), I need to limit the
voltage to ~ >7000 volts rms on the transformers. They must be able to
endure the peak voltage 17,500 +. Keep in mind a charge inductor would
double this voltage as well!
I am looking at some three phase HV transformers but they are on the right
side of the US and I am near LA. Fuel $ is out of control as is 1000LB
weights in shipping.
I have most of the other stuff.
Please email me offline if you have any of these and live on the West side
of the Rockies.
Please correct me if I am missing something in the calcs.
Thanks Much,
Jim Mora
