I have not worked with this particular type of cap, but the following applies to all useable types:
Since most caps are rated +/- 10% and many +/- 20%, you may find that you are dead-on. Always a good idea to measure individual caps and then measure each string to see that they are balanced. It is more important that the value of each string be close to the other. Two strings right at 5000 each are better than having one at say 4950 and the other at 4650. As long as you are away from the resonant value, then the only change will be that you will have to tune in or out a little further with the primary coil tap.

hey my electronics teacher has some 3kv .1uf cere-mite caps, and i
need a total cap size of 10kv and 4800pf. with tesla coils can you
come close to the value you need like putting 2 series chains of 4
cap in parllel to make 5000pf 12kv? or does it have to be exact.
