I agree that brass is the way to go, I have been using brass on all my
coils for the last 30 years and even on my DRSSTC's and have had no
issues. Also brass and red plexy sure look great! My coils are @

I've read the same thing and that is what I used on my tesla
coil. Brass nuts and bolts and brass all thread rod. All my
hardware close to the primary and secondary coils is brass.
