As long as you don't use electrolyt caps you can use them with
alternating current as well.

Hi again, i am most likely going to be ordering 2KV Cornell Dubilier
0.047 polypropelene film caps. They are rated 1000V-3000V DC, now
does that mean ONLY DC or can you use them in tesla coil
