Adam,
I DON'T BELEIVE IT!!!!!! IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks you very much!
I added a strike rail to it about 8" from it and it struck it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still no streamers but that may be because of the fact that it's still light
outside and the rail was so close.
According to Dr. Resonance, I should get 22" sparks. I'm just worried about
flashover from the spot where I repaired the wire in the secondary. I've got
the insulation off some hv wire on the joint but im still worried. Oh well.
I'm sooooooo EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!!!!!!
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna show the neighborhood kids tonight at 8:30.
I think i'll move the strike rail a litle further, but should I move it any
further than the distance from the toroid to the spot that I repaired the
wire?
OOOOH! I just reallized someting!
I forgot to blow air through the spark gap to quench it!
It ought to perform much better when I blow air through it!
I'm excited!
By the way, do you happen to know a Mr. Googe from Maxwell High school? Mr.
George, my electronics teacher, wanted me to ask you.
Thanks again!,
Steven Steele
