You can get a much better deal from www.microfasteners.com which sells bags of 50 6-32 x 2-inch Phillips pan head screws for $2.80 and 50 nuts for $2.25.

Hi Paul,

DigiKey has part number H572-ND for about 10 cents each. Nuts H620-ND are also about 10 cents.

www.mcmaster.com has the screws at 5.3 cents each (91766A153) and the nuts at 5.2 cents (94812A113).

Cheers,

        Terry

Terry,
I went to Lowe's to purchase some #6 nylon screws in order to duplicate your primary mounting. They want $0.56 for 2 screws and $0.58 for 4 nuts!!! Counting the screws you used and multiplying their prices out comes to a small fortune just for the screws and nuts. In fact, it is way more than I paid for 50 ft. of 1/4 inch copper tubing. Do you know of a source for less expensive nylon hardware? Thanks.
