I thought "dwell time" was very clear, it is also the accurate term
when using a rotary gap on a SG coil, but then again, I remember when
all cars had points, and setting the "dwell" was part of a tune-up
(my car still has points, but it is older then me)...

It is the "T1" time or on time... The time that the IGBTS are
delivering power during the burst... Maybe I should fix that...
