Well, lightning can have many different colors, I speak from experience, I
used to watch lightning storms since I was a kid, my parents couldn't keep
me inside the house. I've seen white, blue, violet, red and even green
lightning. I'm sure some will try to counter my claims, but I've seen it,
it's hard to hallucinate green lightning, I think those pictures are
probably a timed exposure, and they look random enough to me.
