Eric,
That sounds like it should be fine. After all i run my MMC of a 8 Stack, it
consists of 144 caps, 12 in series, 12 in parallel (24kV 0.1uF) i run it at
19,000v and had no problems what so ever, even at load of about 18-20kW for
extented runs, there is even no signs of heating.
Regards
Peter

Hi, I have a 4 pack that I currently use with a saltwater cap for powering
my tesla coil. I ordered 45x CD 942C20P1K caps, how many should I run in a
string? Since the maximum RMS of the 4 pack is 10000 KVAC, peak voltage is
14400. So I would think 8 capacitors in series? Does anyone see any
problems with that?
