That's a 7.5 kVA transformer (A bunch more than 20A at 120V, which is only
2.4 kVA)
Why build one.. Just buy a 14.4kV 10kVA pole transformer for a few hundred
bucks.
However, if you want to build one, there are various books on this that will
cover the basics. You need to decide on a few things:
Core cross sectional area
Size of the wire (determined by the current.. what is it 750 cmil/amp? as a
guideline)
Number of turns (determined by the maximum flux in the core)
