Hi Ed,
Ouch! If that's the case I bet My coil would arc out
inside. This little thing will have about 2000V to
2500V across it once the transistor turns off,
(back EMF) And any loss would be bad in this case
as it will add extra heat to the windings. I guess
I'll just stick with a single wire type coil and
see how it goes.
