That's really all i could tell by it. There's no tag, and the screws
are rusted tight. It'd take some work to get it open. Looking thru
the vents, I can't see much , but it looks like maybe just two big
trasformers / inductors, which made me think "ballast?" ...

Any tubes in it? If its heavy and has iron its almost certainly worth
