Re: Measuring Current Output of MOT's?
Original poster: tesla <tesla-at-paradise-dot-net.nz>
Hi Chris
In a quick lash up some time ago I measured the peak charging spike that a
mot could deliver into a capacitor.
The arrangment had a spark gap across a capacitor and a 1 ohm resistor in
the earthy end of the secondary to measure the current.
I got a charging spike of 3amps. This seemed very large and I wondered if
anybody has duplicated this?
