Re: toroid inner

Hi John, All,

I was wondering how the capacitance of a pizza-pan-centered toroid
compared to that of a cross-bar toroid and each of them to that of a
bicycle-wheel-centered one? Seems like there would be a few pf difference.
No? Also, since the central "disk" is at least partially inside the
"internal" magnetic field of the secondary would its being made of steel or
aluminum have different effects?

Richard,

Crossbars work fine. I often used them in the past.
