We used to arrange a strike rail in a 350 degree circle. We don't anymore.
We use four small 1/2"dia brass balls supported on short delrin rods such
that each ball is spaced 90 degrees and rises approx 1 1/2 inches above the
pri. Each ball is grounded with a 6-32 fastener that runs all through the
delrin rod.
Any strikes seem to "find" one of the 3 balls and the strikes don't bother
the sec coil itself.
