Also, keep in mind that those "brand new" 20MHz scopes that sell for
about $500.00 are typically
junk (IMHO).  You're better off getting a reputable scope such as
Tektronix for about $200-300.
Although, again, those brand new scopes *do* scope with warranty and are
guaranteed.  Stuff on ebay
does not.

It just depends what is easy to find in your area and how much you want
to
spend.  The Gould scope looks very nice and should do everything you
need.  Be sure to check and test any used scope before you buy it.
Also,
the probes that go with scopes can often cost 1/2 as much as the scope
and
may also be hard to find so try and get probes too.  Once you find a
nice
scope, you will get your money's worth back many times over since they
are
so very useful for so many things.
