RE: gdt

Very good question! I am looking at winding two in this way, but can
those SSTC gurus share their technique? I am looking at using some cat
5e cable (twist should be minimus of what we want, but it's free!) and
thought of splitting the primary half way through, then paralleling. Any
other ideas????

Semi regards,

Hello,
Could someone tell me the best way to wind a GDT with a turns ratio of
1:2:2
and still maintain good coupling between primary and secondary. Also,
what
seems to be a good number of turns.

Thanks
Claude.
