Re: MOT coil does not light

Alright so i did some testing

Currently I have all the neutrals on the transformer primaries connected
together exiting the lid through a lug.

I have the hots of one side of the MOT connected to a lug, and the hots of
the otehr side connected to my other lug

Center secondaries are connected to the cores, all the cores are connected
to each other. the center secondaries then go on to the outer secondaries in
series and finally out to the HV lug

Thats how it is hooked up currently.

So I have 6 lugs on the top of my transformer case: 120V, 120V, Neutral,
Ground, HV, HV

120V is where 2 primaries are hooked to
Neutral has all the neutrals from the primaries hooked to it
Ground has the cores and inner secondaries
HV is the output from the outer MOT secondaries

I hooked one of the 120V feeds from the wall and hooked it to the HV lug on
the lid. Then hooked the neutral from the wall to the ground terminal. And
read voltages from this side of the MOT stack:

Ground & 120V lugs = 6.5 Volts
Neutral & 110V lugs = 6.9 Volts
HV & 110V = 100 Volts
HV & Neutral = 105 Volts

I have yet to try the other side of the MOT stack yet

Let me know what you think
