Re: Tesla Coiling / High Voltage Research Topics

I have already determined this through testing a few years ago.

With several small and medium size coils running synchro RSG (1800 RPM) we
found best performance in the range 2.8 to 3.2 x fres. We usually use 3.0
for our systems. Performance drops off above 3.3 value.

For static sparkgaps we use 1.6 x fres value.
