Hello Coilers,

I posted this question over the weekend, but I never saw it on the
list, so I'm asking again.  I've wound the helical primary for my
magnifier on an 11 inch diameter chunk of plastic water main that
I managed to scrounge.  The wall thickness is 5/8 inch, and what
I'm wondering about is whether that will be sufficient?  A 9 inch
chunk will be the form for the secondary, giving me the tight K
that a magy requires when it's nested inside the primary.
