Hi,

They will last forever.  Those old life estimates proved to be wrong.  MMCs 
show very little wear in Tesla coiling use if they are properly sized in 
the first place.  There were some numbers and equations out there I used 
originally, but they had no use in our case.  As far as I can tell, life is 
in the thousands of hours...
