Awesome!!
Any idea where I could find a V I curve chart for a standard light bulb?
Does not have to have exceptional detail but would like a graph with
actual voltages and currents labeled on it along with the general shape
of the curve.

Thanx

Hi Luke,
When my grandson was 8 years old he did this as part of a science fair
project called "Is Ohm's Law Really a Law?". Using only an AC ammeter
(0-5A), AC voltmeter (0-150V), a 0-140 Variac, and 120 V, 100 W light bulb,
he plotted the points on plain graph paper and connected the dots. He
repeated the above with carbon resistor, wirewound resistor, a 12v auto
taillight bulb, a lead fishing weight, and a small fluorescent light
fixture. Try it -- it's very edifying and, as they say in the Eggo TV
commercial "It's not rocket surgery."
