I think a really good way to learn is to ask your husband to show you and
teach you. I know it sure made mine happy when I started to try to
understand what his coils do and how they work. If possible attentd tesla
fests wtih him, listen to the guys talk about them and ask questions the
couple we have been able to make it to all the guys there were more than
willing to talk coils and show how things on them worked. Im now one that
works on flyers for when he takes them to our kids schools and am constantly
explaining them to people I show off his coil to. It took me a while but im
still learning and Jason really loves being able to talk to me about them
and his plans for his next and next and next one lol. Current plans are for
the shed to get built so that he can start on his one that will use the
large pole pigs that are wrapped up in the yard, that one ive bannished to
NEVER be in my house lol. Immediate plans are for a 3 1/2 hour ONE WAY trip
to pick up a new transformer for a bigger and better coil. I am at least
where I can name the diffrent parts and have a basic understanding on how
they work, tried to make my own but got tired of trying to wind all that
wire and gave it to hubby to do then my tranformer went out so never got any
farther lol.
Good luck im sure you will make your husband a happy camper getting involved
in something he enjoys.
