Thanks for the comments. Once I arrange the phase controller for my SRSG I
will fire it up again to sort out the tuning. I am also waiting for an
electrician to install a 250V 32A socket now that I have picked up the parts
on eBay. This is more than my variac can handle so it will be full throttle
or nothing (once tuned).
At present, however, I have so much on the go, most recently magnetic
levitation, ferrofluids and a lifter for a museum, laser stuff, upgraded
railgun and cancrusher, that the Tesla stuff has not progressed much.
