Adam,

Actually, it had "Powerstat" stamped on the metal frame, but had
the "Luxtrol" stick-on label on the broken black terminal board.
BTW, I was able to fix the broken term. brd. for a grand total of $2.95.
A small cheap poly cutting board from the Neighborhood Market Wal-
mart and a package of (4) #10 x 32 TPI 1" long brass screws from
Home Depot and it was as good as new ;^) And only $68 and some
change got the variac to me, including shipping.
