FBSSTC modifications ok?

Hey,
After some time fiddling with the circuit that steve ward designed( 4420 
fbsstc) ( microsstc) i decided to make it  a half-bridge...

I know that i need to add more to the circuit...I did run it into the 
halfbridge for s!-at-# and giggles and noticed only one mosfet was getting a 
signal on its gate...

I want to add a 4429 into the circuit. If i were to run the output from the 
4420 into the 4429 and have the 4429 power a GDT, would this work?Or do i 
need to add another 4420 and send the signal from the main 4420 into the 
4420/4429 combo?Liek on hvguy's site...
