I was wonder what this power supply is good for in
tesla land.

Also a bidder with zero history enters and bids up the price
in increments until the high bidder is outbid. The entry of
a zero history bidder has happen to me on occasion. If I'm
outbid, I just get out of the bidding, because I think its
some kind of game to drive up the price.

Hi Godfrey,
This voltage multiplier might be useful as a DC charging supply for a
coil operated in single-shot mode. I would prefer three times the current
at one-third the voltage, but that's me. The "zero-history bidder" on this
item actually does have a history of buying laser-related items, just no
feedback yet (11 items won in last 25 days). Also seems to have fairly deep
pockets. You need to do a "Search by Bidder" to find what a newbie to eBay
has been buying, as they will all have zero feedback for a few weeks.
(Sorry, no conspiracy here ;-(( ) If you find someone who has been around
for months or years and jacked up prices but never was a successful bidder,
then suspicion might be warranted.
