I would guess not. Besides, a shiny brand-new 1/2W resistor costs
something like a penny a piece. No doubt the epoxy would cost far more,
not to mention the trouble and mess.

Can I epoxy encase 1/4 or 1/8 watt resistors to increase the current and
voltage rating? I've read the main problem with them is arcing from lead
to
lead not the carbon film giving way, leading me to this idea.
