Tube coil designs that use a high voltage on the cathode are somewhat hard
to come by. IMHO it's much easier to elevate the primary circuit to the
high voltage and ground the filament (with an appropriately sized RF bypass
capacitor between the leads of course), that way you can get away with
wrapping your own filament tranny and not have to worry about insulation
there. Isolating the primary is something that is very easy to do, since
you already need a good deal of airspace between it and the secondary.
