Be aware that most computer power supplies will shut down is the load
current exceeds the limit of the output.  A large transmitting tube will
represent a load resistance close to a short circuit at cold start.  You
may have to include a starting resistance in series with the power
supply and the tube to get the supply to start properly.  You'll have to
bypass the resistor after the tube filament warms up.
