I'd have to agree... Brand new, this kind of thing cost a couple thousand,
at most, and judging from the size, it's a 70's,80's vintage technology
(fairly low energy density... today, they get 50 kJ in the same sized can)
A couple or five years ago, I got a quote on a brand new, with warranty, 20
kV 30uF (6 kJ) cap from Maxwell for $2500 each, $1799 in small quantities.
