If you download and install GhostScript and GhostView (google for them) you
can view and print postscript documents. As I recall, GhostView will handle
gzip'ed and tar'ed ps files without needing to be uncompressed.
If you need to uncompress a gzip'ed file, you can get gzip (also google for
it) which is available as precompiled ready to run executables for most
operating systems.
All free..
