I see what you're trying to do.  Looks like it would be pretty spectacular.
Would it be possible to run the high tension lead up an insulated  center
support, for a cleaner look on the top, or would that put it into too close
a proximity to the grounded plate?  Don't suppose you've got any pictures
that Terry could post?
