There have been various coilers, myself included, that have made small spark
gap TC's run off of flyback transformers. You'll have to rectify the current
though since high frequency won't work to decently charge a tank cap but DC
will.

frequency is around 30-50 khz. Anyone think these things could work even
though they are at such a high frequency? What would happen to the tank
