Hi Nolan,

Let me point you to a source for arc dynamics and related equations. This 
is chapter 7 of the North Report. Although JavaTC is now setup to calc 
static gaps including multi-pipe gaps, that version isn't uploaded yet, so 
that won't do you much good (I'm still working on some help files). 
However, the North Report is definitely a keeper. Also, it would be 
advantageous to do a search in the List Archives (key word "North Report"). 
We've discussed portions of this report a few times and there are postings 
that are related and will probably give you the info your seeking (in other 
words, we've posted the calcs, I just don't have it all handy at the moment).
