Sorry guys but I feel I must comment on this plasma tweeter thing. Tube
plasma tweeters are just so much easier to build. Plus, tubes can oscillate
at a very high frequency, like 10MHz, no problem. The high frequency makes a
quieter arc, like Dan suggested, and also would theoretically give less
harmonic distortion compared to a 400kHz solid-state inverter with PWM.
