Sounds like your still relatively young.  Give it some time.  Once you have
a house of your own, you can buy utility-grade transformers up the whazoo
and
really build some kick-azz coils!!!  I'm still waiting to make that move
into a nice house with some land so I can start messing fulltime with the
pole transformers.
However, I own my townhouse now for the time being and have to stick with
building smaller stuff.  Which is okay, since I've only been dabbing with
the tesla coil stuff
for about a year now and I should really get down all the basics and
experience with small coils before moving on to the big stuff!!!!
