Hi Steve, All,
I did modify the motor so that it was synchronous
without the disk, I don't know what it is with the
disk and electrodes. I am running at 240bps or 2
breaks per half cycle so I don't know why losing sync
would make the TC perform like that.
I have 2 saftey gaps, one across the cap and one
across the transformer. The transformer one is in
parallel with the SRSG, so I think it's okay. Both
gaps are set to around 15-20kV.
