	The 1/2" gap seems excessive for this application, unless you are using
mighty thick rotors.  How much power do you hope to generate, and what
prime mover are you going to use?  Have you looked at Tesla's design
patent for a very clever two-rotor HP generator?  Minimizes brush
friction for the outer edge of the rotor.  If not, I suggest you look it
up (don't have the patent # in my brain) and consider giving it a try.
