Hi Christoph,

Just wanted to note your measured frequency again. I ran Fantc on your
given specs. Assuming I interpreted the specs at least close, here's a
resonance analysis from Fantc: Note Fres of the secondary is 282kHz
(about 100kHz higher than your measurement). Either my inputs are
grossly incorrect OR your measurement is way off.

Running F A N T C using core functions of G E O T C version: 2.2
Computing ..... please wait

Secondary Resonant Frequency: 282.07 kHz

Energy Storage Inductance (Lee): 14.95 mH
Effective Series Inductance (Les): 15.67 mH
Low Frequency Inductance (Ldc): 16.76 mH
Energy Storage Capacitance (Cee): 19.36 pF
Effective Shunt Capacitance (Ces): 20.61 pF
Low Frequency Capacitance (Cdc): 30.21 pF
Total Topload Capacitance (Ctop): 16.24 pF

Run CompleteTime elapsed: 26.2 secs

Also, here is a Fantc generated representation of the coil as well as a
couple other gif images of the inputs I used (in inches).
These are just images of the Fantc so I could show you my inputs easily
and let you decide if something is grossly incorrect.

Fantc is also available for your use. It is pc intensive and runs best
under IE6 browsers or NS4 browsers. The Opera's, AOL's, and new NS6 and
7 browsers have many difficulty's with the intesity of the program. Note
I put your secondary 20" off the ground and the inner turn of the
primary is 1.5" below the secondary. Also, Fantc uses radius's for the
coil inputs.

Take care,
