There was not an equal mix of the two parts so that in spots it will not 
harden.
I recommend a light sanding of the coil. Sand well but try not to hit the 
windings.
Clear the questionable spots as best as possible.
If it's just tacky I would not worry.
Fallow the mixing instructions precisely for the 2 part epoxy. Mix very well
Coat the coil.
