LTR caps

Hi all,

i just have some capacitor queries i thought i might try to clear up before 
i launch straight into the cap building/buying process.

---i have a 12/30 NST which is going to power a small 2 inch secondary.

cauculated resonance cap at 50hz is 7.9 nf and LTR 1.5 is 11.9 (please, 
correct me if I'm wrong)
  i am planning to use a series static gap, quenched with 2 computer PSU 
fans-- will LTR caps work desierably on this gap setup.

also, what would happen if the cap size was larger than the resonant value 
but smaller than the LTR 1.5 (is 1.5 the best correct LTR constant?) vaule, 
in terms of streamer size, and NST/capacitor stress?
