Okay, T&R Electric no longer sells pole transformers to amateurs.  From what
I've ready the past few days, this is like the end of the world or
something.  Is T&R Electric
*the* only company out there to sell pole transformers?  I would think there
would be hundreds of other places where one could obtain a PDT.  Just
walking one block down
the street from my house I count over 20 PDTs easily.  There's literally
millions and millions of these things out there.  I find it very hard to
believe that we could be limited to a single
source for these things.  I can fully understand the dilemma occuring with
the high voltage capacitor companies (Condenser Products etc...) as they are
specialized items, but a pole transformer
is as common as any equipment can get.

Anyone have any thoughts on this???
