Chris,

An 812 is basically the same as an 811, except for some
subtle differences that won't matter for a tube coil.  You can
use an existing 811 schematic.  You may need to adjust
the grid resistance or grid feedback slightly for best results.

These tubes can only give a few inches of spark output.
